Part-time CFO and advisor to a number of Cambridge’s most successful software and technology start ups, having started his own consultancy practice 4 years ago. Colin currently supports a portfolio of businesses that includes both privately owned businesses and equity backed businesses from Seed through to Series A/B stage, and across BioTech, AgriTech, MarTech and IT/DevOps industries.

This ‘hands-on’ portfolio role brings valuable insight and a deep understanding of what it takes to successfully scale up, from some of the most exciting businesses and talented leadership teams. Adding to over 20 years experience previously gained between the Financial Services industry and working for Red Gate Software Limited (Developer/DevOps tooling), in a variety of finance-focused management and leadership positions.

Colin is bringing this experience to bear at Boutros, helping to develop the company’s financial practices, forecasts and growth strategies, in particular the commercial aspects of achieving product/market fit.
