Healthy through habit: Interventions for initiating & maintaining health behavior change

The paper reviews the existing behavioural health literature to summarise the different ways of effectively achieving long-term behavioural change. It proposes that the three main components of a long-term behavioural change intervention are: Repetition, Establish Contextual Cues, and Rewards. We have integrated the findings into our health coach consultation sessions, allowing participants to form lasting habits.
